Finally Fair 'ffeine! Fair Trade/ Organic Coffee comes to TC
finally fair 'ffeine ::: Traverse City is blessed with being one of the few cities that doesn’t have a Starbucks on every corner, but if you’re looking for an original coffeehouse experience you still might be out of luck. Nowadays just about every café feels, looks, and tastes about the same. But that’s all about to change around the beginning of August. Chris and Jody Treter of Higher Grounds Trading company are opening a new space in Building 53 on the Grand Traverse Commons. The 5000 square foot former laundry room will host their roasting operations, but they’ve got a lot more planned for the space and Lou Blouin dropped by this week to check it out.
